Chanel Iman is going to be a mother again! The model is expecting her third child. This will be the first baby together for Iman and her boyfriend, NFL star Davon Godchaux. The couple announced the happy news with a maternity photoshoot on Wednesday.
Iman already shares two children with her ex Sterling Shepard, from whom she separated in 2021. Godchaux also has a son from a previous relationship. Read on to know more about the couple’s journey toward parenthood.
Chanel Iman Pregnant With Her Third Child
The 32-year-old model first broke the news by flaunting her baby bump in a green bikini on Instagram on Wednesday. She shared a picture from a beach along with her friends Brittany Cartwright, Heather Rae Young, and Bianca Mitsuko pm her Instagram story.
A few hours later, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel posted a series of photos from her maternity photoshoot with boyfriend Davon Godchaux. The couple twinned in white for the special occasion and looked so much in love.
“Our family is growing and we are so excited to meet our new little one 👼🏽,” Iman captioned the post. Godchaux also shared the pictures on his own account and wrote, “God is great! It’s all been a blessing 🙏🏽.”
Friends and Fans Congratulated the Couple
The couples’ posts were soon filled with congratulatory comments from their friends and fans. Model Winnie Harlow wrote, “Congratulations sweets 🤍.” Footballer Jarvis Landry commented, “Congratulations family !!” Model Lily Aldridge also wrote, “Congratulations to your beautiful family ❤️❤️❤️.”
Helena Jones penned, “OMG you look freaking stunning congratulations to you two ‼️” An excited fan commented, “Not me screaming like I know these people 😂 Congrats 🥳.” Another wrote, “Beautiful. @chauxdown You did that. Iman Shares Two Children with Her Estranged Husband
Iman is a mother to two daughters: 4-year-old Cali and 3-year-old Cassie, whom she welcomed with her estranged husband, New York Giants player Sterling Shepard. The former couple filed for divorce in June 2021 after three years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. They are yet to finalize their divorce.
Talking about motherhood in a recent interview, Iman said, “I’m so fortunate to have had a mother that was always there for me throughout my life. She made sure I felt unconditionally loved and protected. I want my daughters to feel this same love. So I make sure to be there for them in every way, just as my mother did for me.”
Following her separation from Shepard, Iman found love with Godchaux. The couple made their relationship Instagram official in April 2022. At the time, the model shared a PDA-filled picture with her boyfriend from the Revolve Festival during Coachella.
The New England Patriots defensive commented, “I love you ❤️🤞🏾👅.” Ever since the two have been spotted together along with their kids on several occasions. Godchaux has a 7-year-old son named Davon Godchaux II from a previous relationship.
