Miley Cyrus is all set to end the year with a bang, the Miley way. She is back with her second annual Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party Special to welcome the new year and she just announced the lineup!
Who Will Be Performing?
The musical lineup for the show includes rapper Lato, Fletcher, and hip-hop duo Rae-Sremmurd, who are close friends with Miley Cyrus. It also includes the rock band Liily, and the legendary singer Sia. Saturday Night Live’s Chloe Fineman and Sarah Sherman will be making an appearance along with Please Don’t Destroy.
Miley Cyrus had gone on to the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to announce some of the performers earlier. She said “As we get closer to the show, I want to start revealing who else we have. But the lineup is very me. It is curated in a way that makes no sense, but makes total sense.”
How To Watch The Show?
Those who want to cuddle at home and watch the party unfold can tune to NBC and Peacock Saturday on December 31st. The broadcast will start at 10.30 PM and go on for about 2 hours before ending at 12.30 AM E.T.
The second installment of the show will also take place in Miami like the first one did. It will be directed by Joe DeMaio while Lorne Michaels, Evan Prager, Jesse Ignjatovic, and Cyrus are the executive producers for the show.
Miley Cyrus’s mother, Tish Cyrus will also be involved with the show as her company Hopetown Entertainment is also one of the producers of the show.
The NBC network is going all out in promoting the New Year’s Party special.

If there is one thing Miley Cyrus knows, it’s how to party! That is of course besides her skill and talent of being an exceptional singer and an icon to a whole generation! The Hannah Montana alum had announced on an NBC promo video on November 21st that “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party is about getting glamorous and dressing your best.”
Cyrus sat at a table with champagne glasses on it and the ceiling had gold and black streamers hanging from it. Dolly Parton, her co-host, was also beside her. Parton said in the promo that the party would be legendary and Miley chimed in saying “She would know”.
Last year, she was joined by Pete Davidson as the co-host, the two of them went live at midnight in Miami. Cyrus’s whole idea with the party was to “do something that’s traditional, but I knew that we would do it in a way that is unique and unconventional, and we did that by starting with going to Miami.”
There are so many shows and events that take place on the 31st of December. However, Miley Cyrus is trying to carve out a space for herself in that area that has been dominated by other prestigious programs for decades.
She has done a fairly good job at getting singers like Sia and Lato to perform along with others. As this is the second year she will be hosting the New Year event, fans are excited to see her elevate the game and see Cyrus bring her A-game on.
