Master P And His Son, Romeo Miller’s Social Media Beef Explained

American rapper Master P and his son, Romeo Miller aren’t on the same page. The father-son relationship seems more than turbulent after Romeo took to Instagram and shared a poem, targeting Master P and defending his ex-wife, Sonya. Read on to learn more about their beef.

Romeo Miller Writes The Tree Of Trauma…

Things have been tough for the Millers after Romeo’s sister Tytyana Miller, died from an accidental fentanyl overdose. On Saturday (Dec. 17),  Percy Robert Miller aka Master P’s son, Romeo Miller took to Instagram and shared a piece of poetry, directed at his father and mother, Master P and Sonya.

At one point, Romeo wrote, “How is the media one day your best friend and then the next liars?” The line referred to Master P’s recent post calling “The Shade Room” the devil. As for his mother, he suggested that she  “weathered the dragging of media for years.” However, he mentioned in his poem that his mother, Sonya underwent trauma at the hands of the Miller family, but despite it, she “rose from the concrete”.

At another place, Miller targeted his father, and wrote, “Regardless of the damage, just look deep, because, behind every great King, there was a queen that carried on his curses and was never seen.”

Miller captioned this cryptic poem: “A poem because poetry is one of the most powerful forms of therapy. Let’s educate and break these cycles together! Your mental health is just like a muscle that needs to be built and treated. The next generation will grow stronger because of our truths and as a man of God, I know mine will one day too. The Tree of Trauma. 🌳”

Master P Hits Back At Romeo’s Post

Master P didn’t seem happy after his son’s cryptic revelations, mostly targeting him. After reading Romeo’s post, “Mr Icecream Man” the artist took to social media, and stated that this “new generation of kids must stop blaming parents for everything”.

He wrote, “How do they think they got to where they are without their parents making sacrifices for them? Mental illness is real and so many families are tragically affected by it, especially when there is added trauma like the death of a loved one, referring to his daughter’s death.

“Social media is not the place for healing. Son, I love you. Stop trying to get people to feel sorry for you. And let’s come up with a solution. You can come to talk to your father and your family like a man, you have kids, too. No family is perfect but together with God, we can heal and get through this,” Master P suggested.

Master P announced on May 29, 2022, Miller announced that his daughter Tytyana Miller had died at 25 years old from a fentanyl overdose. Romeo has been hit by the loss of his sister and seems to be coping with some daddy issues. Even though he hasn’t been vocal, Romeo has indirectly targeted his father, the man who holds credit for Romeo’s fame.

From the success of “Lil’ Romeo” to the “No Limit” album hitting No. 6 on the Billboard 200, Master P was instrumental in helping Miller to achieve fame in the early 2000s. Master P and Romeo recently opened up about exiting the WEtv series, Growing Up Hip Hop.

The two stood together and suggested that “they are not doing the show because it’s taking a direction that they don’t feel comfortable going as a family”. Master P called out the producers by writing, “fake producers creating fake stories”. However, things seem to have changed between the father and son now.
