There are many congratulations to be given to Maria Menounos and Keven Undergaro! Hopefully, they will have a very bright future, and we wish them all the best.
Shortly, the couple will be welcoming a new baby into their family. This is their first child together.
Maria Menounos Will Soon Become A Mother
Maria Menounos and her husband, Keven Undergaro, are expecting their first child together very soon. It was confirmed by Undergaro’s representative on Feb. 7 that the TV host, 44, and Undergaro, 55, are expecting their first child together via surrogate, according to a rep.
“After a decade of trying everything, we are so grateful to the beautiful family helping us conceive our baby. Keven, my dad, and I are beyond excited for this soul to come into our lives. What a blessing.” The outlet quoted Menounos as saying.
As well as sharing a heartwarming clip, the upcoming mom-to-be shared another clip in which she and her father, Constantinos Menounos, watched the ultrasound video of their child together. In the words of Maria, we can hear, “Oh my god! Guys, that’s my baby. I love you.”
Throughout Their Fertility Journey, Menounos Has Been Open About It
In the past decade, Menounos and her husband have undergone several IVF treatments for fertility purposes, and she has spoken publicly about the couple’s fertility journey on numerous occasions. Maria has discussed several things about their difficulties regarding surrogacy and IVF, which they have been trying for several years.
The last time she shared an update with the public was in February 2022, when she said: “I didn’t think it was going to take this long. It’s been years. We’ve used different services and different people. It’s just been a very frustrating process.”
There have been reports that Menounos and Undergaro, married during Fox’s New Year’s Eve broadcast in December 2017, began considering surrogacy in 2018. As they started to search for advice, they turned to friends like Kim Kardashian, whose daughter Chicago and son Psalm were both born through surrogates. “I was grateful that I had her to share and help me,” Menounos said in a statement.
According to the TV personality, the first surrogate they used for the couple in 2021 was unfortunately not a suitable match due to medical reasons. “I definitely didn’t think it was going to take this long. It’s been years. We’ve used different services and different people. It’s just been a very frustrating process.” As she stated in an interview that she had previously conducted.
The Couple Got Married In December 2017
There was a surprise wedding ceremony held at the beginning of the 2018 New Year by Maria Menounos and her boyfriend of 20 years, Keven Undergaro. Just before the clock struck midnight, the couple chose to tie the knot on live television the night of their wedding ceremony.
Her father and mother, who were fighting stage-four brain cancer, were surprised when she told them the good news while hosting Fox’s New Year’s Eve show. The 39-year-old was hosting the show.
“I will be the coldest bride ever but the happiest,” Menounos captioned a video of her parents reacting to the news that she would be getting married with tears in their eyes. “Seeing my parents happy means everything!”
A Pronovias lace gown and a matching coat made it possible for the TV personality, who had her brain tumor removed at the end of July 2018, to look stunning on the red carpet. The groom wore a simple black tuxedo during the chilly ceremony held outside. Menounos’ co-host, Steve Harvey, performed a ritual to officiate the event.
There were at most two weeks for the couple to prepare for this event, and they say an idea was given to them by a TV producer. Ultimately, it was a wise decision since it eliminated all the drama that came along with planning a wedding and was the right choice for them.
In the coming months, the couple will soon be able to enjoy the joys of parenting with their newborn. May they have an incredible journey together as parents, and we wish them every success. Keep an eye out for more such showbiz gossip shortly.
