MAMA Awards 2022 concluded on November 30 after a two-night star-studded ceremony. The awards, which celebrate the best of K-pop and Asian music, took place at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan. The theme of this year’s ceremony is ‘K-POP World Citizenship’, and the sub-theme for Day 2 is ‘We are K-POP’.
On the first day, the awards for Yogibo Worldwide Icon of the Year, Favorite New Artist, Worldwide Fans’ Choice, Yogibo Chill Artist, and Favorite Asian Artist were announced. The rest of the honors were presented on Day 2. Here is the full list of winners.

The winners for some major categories were announced on November 30, including MAMA Platinum, Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Male Artist, and Best Female Artist. BTS took away the highest number of awards home. See the full list of winners below.

Winners for Five Categories were Announced on Day 1
Earlier on the first day, the award for Favorite New Artist was presented to IVE, Le Sserafim, Nmixx, and Kep1er. BTS won the Worldwide Icon Of The Year (Daesang) Award. Stray Kids feat. Bang Chan, Lee Know, Han, Changbin, Hyunjin, Seungmin, Felix, and I.N were honored with Yogibo Chill Artist Award.
Japanese group JO1 featuring Issei Mamehara, Shosei Ohira, Ren Kawashiri, Takumi Kawanishi, Shion Tsurubo, Sukai Kinjo, Ruki Shiroiwa, Sho Yonashiro, Keigo Sato, Syoya Kimata and Junki Kono won the Favorite New Asian Artist award.
The Worldwide Fans’ Choice award was presented to ten acts: BTS, Stray Kids, GOT7, Seventeen, Treasure, Psy, NCT Dream, Enhypen, Blackpink, and TXT. The ceremony also saw performances by Jeon Somi, Leejung Lee, NMIXX, DKZ, Hyolyn, BIBI, JO1, LE SSERAFIM, Kep1er, FORESTELLA, Street Man Fighter, Kang Daniel, TXT, and KARA.
