Machine Gun Kelly and Meghan Fox have made headlines for their unconventional relationship traditions in the past, including the time they drank each others blood! The latest headline though might be a little more heartwarming with just a hint of confusion.
MGK Refers To Meghan As ‘Wife’, Talks About ‘Unborn Child’
Machine Gun Kelly recently took to stage in Las Vegas to perform his song Twin Flame. At the beginning of the song, the rapper said that the song was for his “wife”. While some people might speculate that the two of them got married secretly, many boyfriends do call their girlfriends ‘wife’ or ‘wifey’. It is just a cute nickname to suggest how committed they are to the relationship.
The lyrics of the song included “You’re too good for me/I’m too bad to keep/I’m too sad, lonely/I want you only.”
However, the more surprising part was his reference to the ‘unborn child’. He said, “And this is for our unborn child”. Although the song’s lyrics did not reference anything about a child, people assumed that this was the couple’s way of announcing their pregnancy.
Previous References to Megan As ‘Wife’
This is the first time that many people heard MGK call Meghan his ‘wife’, but this is not the first time that he’s done it. Back in March, he made an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres’s show. The 31-year-old musician was sharing a story about a beauty treatment at his LA home.
He went on to say how the therapist was talking about his leaky gut and gassy stomach issues. MGK didn’t want Meghan to hear about that stuff and went “My wife is right there. No, no, no!”
Despite dropping the W-bomb, he went to answer questions like which boyband would he like to perform at their wedding? The answer is BTS, by the way! But the band that he knows most of NSYNC’s songs. This may suggest that ‘wife’ is just a nickname he has and they are not really married yet.
That is not all. In one of the NBA All-Stars-Game, the announcer referred to Meghan as MGK’s wife. She laughed it off then put her palm over her lips and mouthed the words “I am not your wife”.
More About The Couple & Their Engagement!
The couple got engaged in January. Sharing the news with over 20 million, Meghan wrote “In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time,” she captioned the clip. “Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.”
The rest of the caption was sweet and emotional, however, she ended it with “and then we drank each other’s blood 1.11.22.”
The couple met on the sets of the movie called Midnight In The Switchgrass in early 2020. They made their relationship official later that summer. Meghan also went on to appear in his music video called “Bloody Valentine”.
The music video was released soon after she split from her husband of ten years, Brian Austin Green. They co-parent three sons, Noah 9, Bodhi 7, and Journey 5. MGK is also a father to 12-year-old daughter Casie with ex Emma Cannon.
The news of whether MGK and Meghan are married or expecting a child together is still unclear.
