On Thursday, April 20, 2023, the Netflix personality shared a cryptic message on his Instagram Story after the fans of the show Love Is Blind pointed out Jansen’s erratic behavior during an Instagram Live.
“Everyone loves a scandal – Shayne Jansen. I’ll see y’all next week or month,” he wrote on a pink screen on his Instagram Story. His latest message came after the fans begged him to get some help after he was seen struggling to form coherent sentences during an Instagram live session that took place last Sunday.
One social media user wrote, “Poor guy. Is clearly struggling. I hope he gets the help he needs. It’s never too late to try.” Another user penned, “Intervention ASAP. So sad.” Followed by a third user who penned, “So sad to see someone in this state posting on social media. Hopefully he looks back on this and makes some positive changes.”
A couple of netizens mentioned potential stressors in his life including his mother’s recent demise and the pressure of reality TV. One person said, “He lost his mom recently and someone def needs to check in on him.” Another user speculated, “Knew he was on something after watching him on ‘Perfect Match.’”
When did Shayne Jansen’s mother pass away?
The reality TV star lost his mother Karen Jansen last year. Then, he took to his Instagram page and shared the heartbreaking news of his mom’s death by posting a series of pictures of the mother-son duo on his Instagram feed.
“I lost my best friend today. For the last year, we have been inseparable. Coffee every morning to schitts creek every night. I’m broken inside but I know I can live with zero regrets knowing we did everything together. I’ll never be able to replace my FaceTime partner on the daily. Thank you all for the support ❤️,” he wrote in the caption of the post.
In May 2022, Shayne dropped a sweet post for his mother on the occasion of his 33rd birthday. He wrote, “Every year this woman steals my birthday thunder with this thing called ‘Mother’s Day’. I wouldn’t trade it for anything she deserves to be celebrated everyday. Happy birthday to me #33.”
On the other hand, when we talk about Jansen’s father Wayne Jansen, he left for the heavenly abode in the year 2021. His dad passed away right before the shooting for Netflix’s dating show Love Is Blind started. As per an online obituary, Wayne died unexpectedly in his sleep.
