Armed with her catchphrase, “one love,” Superwoman, aka Lilly Singh, is a paragon of positivity. Fans connect with her because evoking love is a large part of her brand. Her phenomenal #GirlLove campaign promotes love between girls, encouraging them to build each other up instead of tearing each other down.

She began this project in 2015 with the support of influencers like “Pretty Little Liars” actress Shay Mitchell to YouTubers like Colleen (Miranda Sings) and beauty blogger like Kandee Johnson.

The campaign included the promotion of education for girls with profits from the sale of Rafiki bracelets made by moms in Kenya. Singh took an inspirational trip to Kenya where she helped design the bracelet herself. She met with the women who make them and even the children whose education is supported by the bracelet’s profits.

Singh released the Rafiki bracelets for her birthday in 2016 and in 2017 she created another bracelet for her birthday. She later created a bracelet for the men so they, too, could participate in the #GirlLove campaign.
