Lindsay Lohan Gushes About Marriage With Bader Shammas, Promotes “Falling for Christmas”

Lindsay Lohan appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and talked about recently getting married to Bader Shammas. She revealed how she’s finally found “her person”, which is a rare thing. Apart from this, the 36-year-old actress also opened up about singing Jingle Bell Rock in her movie Falling for Christmas.

Lindsay and Bader Make A Great Team…

Jimmy Fallon congratulated the gorgeous actress, Lindsay Lohan on getting married to Bader Shammas. A blushing Lindsay replied, “I am yes!” Jimmy then asked, “How does it feel? I met your husband. I met him backstage. How does it feel?” Lindsay revealed that it feels great after getting married to Bader. “I met my person, you never know if you’re gonna find that in life, he’s an amazing guy, man, and I love him,” she gushed. 

“How long have you been married?” Jimmy asked. Lindsay revealed that she got married to Bader on April 3, 2022. When asked about having a whole new perspective in life after marriage, Lindsay stated, “You just get to share everything with someone. And it’s so special.”

If you’re not aware, Lindsay got secretly married to her boyfriend Bader Shammas, whom she’s been dating since 2019. She shared about her engagement in November 2021, on Instagram.  2021. “My love. My life. My family. My future,” she wrote in the caption at the time. After that, in July, Lohan referred to him as her husband and described herself as the  “luckiest woman in the world.”

“🎂❤️🥰 I am the luckiest woman in the world,” she wrote. “Not because I need a man, but because he found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that this is my husband. My life and my everything. ❤️ Every woman should feel like this everyday 💖🙏,” Lindsay expressed in her post.

The Mean Girls actress, 36, also took a post-wedding trip in July to the Turkish Riviera. The trip came shortly after news outlets confirmed that she was married to financier Bader Shammas. “Fun in the sun,” she captioned the post from her vacation, tagging her location as The Bodrum EDITION, which is a luxury resort just miles from the Yalikavak Marina (the western point of the Bodrum peninsula).

Lindsay On Interviewing People…

Jimmy complimented Lindsay on her podcast “The Lowdown” and asked, “usually you’re on the other side getting interviewed. But do you like interviewing people? Lindsay revealed that she was so nervous when she did her first interview because she’s used to getting the questions asked and not the other way around. She said, “She got good at it eventually.”

When Lindsay said that no one can watch her first episode, Jimmy agreed and said that he can’t even watch his first “Late Night”. Lindsay reminded him that she was there for the first week back then. Jimmy admitted that he was stuttering and flop-sweating, and it was rough.

All About “Falling For Christmas”

Lindsay Lohan took a long hiatus from acting. However, after signing a multi-picture deal with Netflix, Lohan starred in the romantic comedy Falling for Christmas, which is now available on Netflix. About this movie, Jimmy said, “This is my type of movie by the way. I love these holiday movies, and I want, “Love, Actually” every day of the year.”

When asked what the movie is about, Lindsay revealed that it’s about a girl who kind of is an heiress that has pretty much everything and something happens to her. “She gets in a bad accident, and she gets amnesia and remembers nothing,” she explained about the plot.

She revealed that it’s a beautiful story because it’s about how we always want more things in life but the simple thing really means the most in the end, and she connected with that. She also mentioned that’s too funny because she does a lot of physical comedy in the movie.

FYI, the American Christmas rom-com film is directed by Janeen Damian, making her directorial debut. The film stars like Lindsay Lohan and Chord Overstreet while George Young, Jack Wagner and Olivia Perez have appeared in supporting roles.

This marks Lohan’s first role in a major production in over a decade following a series of career setbacks while recovering from addiction and legal issues. “Falling For Christmas” was released on Netflix on November 10, 2022.

The Idea Of ‘Jingle Bell Rock’

Lindsay Lohan has not only made a major comeback as an actress but also as a singer. If you’re not aware, she has sung the “Jingle Bell Rock” in Falling For Christmas”. While showing the song cover, Jimmy stated, “let me remind everyone who doesn’t know, but the last time you sang Jingle Bell Rock in a movie was in “Mean Girls”.

“Whose idea was it to do Jingle Bell Rock?” Jimmy asked. Lohan responded that it was a joke actually. “I was kidding around with producers and the director and I was like, oh it would be great to do, you know, like a “jingle bell rock” skit, and I shouldn’t have said it because they went to straight to, oh, let’s re-create, the “Mean Girls” talent show scene,” she explained.

However, Lohan told her team that they can’t touch Mean Girls but they were like if she could do the song. And, that’s how they came up with the idea of doing “Jingle Bell Rock”. The movie is worth a watch. Have you seen it already? What do you think?
