Congratulations are in order for Liev Schreiber and Taylor Neisen as the couple is expecting their first child together. The 55-year-old actor and his 31-year-old girlfriend have revealed to their friends that they are going to be parents soon.
This will be the third child for Schreiber, who already shares two kids with ex-wife, actress Naomi Watts. The former couple got divorced in 2016, after which Schreiber began dating Neisen a year later in 2017. Continue reading to know more about the couple’s happy news.
Liev Schreiber and Taylor Neisen Expecting First Child Together
The reports of Neisen’s pregnancy surfaced on Thursday, April 20th. A source revealed that the couple is excited and has shared the news with their close friends. However, they have not yet officially announced their pregnancy. Reps for the two celebs are yet to comment on the news.
Schreiber got into a relationship with Neisen in 2017. The X-Men Origins: Wolverine actor was spotted with the former Miss South Dakota for the first time at the Wollman Rink in New York City. At the time, an insider revealed the couple was ‘extremely affectionate with each other… hugging, holding hands and exchanging a peck on the lips.’
The two mostly kept their relationship private and did not talk about each other in interviews or on social media. However, they were spotted together on romantic vacations multiple times. In December last year, Schreiber wished Neisen on her birthday with an adorable post on Instagram.
He shared a picture of the birthday cake, which featured a photo of his lady love, and wrote, “Happy Birthday Taytay!!! All the critters are so happy you were born today! Most of all me.” Neisen also recently hyped her boyfriend’s upcoming show, A Small Light, on social media by writing, “So proud! And so excited for this!!!”
Schreiber Shares Two Children with Naomi Watts
Schreiber was previously married to Watts for 11 years. The ex-couple tied the knot in 2005. Two years later, they welcomed their first son, Sasha. In 2008, their second son, Kai, was born. The couple went their separate ways in 2016.
“It is with great love, respect, and friendship in our hearts that we look forward to raising our children together and exploring this new phase of our relationship,” they said in their joint statement at the time.
Schreiber talked about the split in 2018 and said, “It’s always hard, you know? You build a life with someone and things change. And I think the way that we’ve looked at it is that we’ll always be partners with these kids.”
Since then, the two actors have been co-parenting their children and have remained co-cordial. “We’re doing things very differently. We’ve made it our absolute priority to be good and kind to each other and we’re absolutely committed to that,” Watts revealed in August 2019.
The former couple reunited in June last year for their younger son’s graduation, which was also attended by Neisen. Watts shared a group photo from the occasion on Instagram and gave it a Modern Family reference by writing, “Congratulations to Kai ⚡️🎉Class of 2022 #modernfamily ❤️ #graduation.” The actress is now dating The Morning Show star, Billy Crudup.
