Letitia Wright Teased Black Panther 3
On the Golden Globe night, the new Black Panther, Letitia Wright spoke to Variety: “I think it’s already in the works. You know we just had a terrific two years of bringing it out, and just everybody just coming together to support it. We need a little bit of a break. We need to regroup and Ryan [Coogler] needs to get back into the lab. so it’s going to take a while, but [I’m] really excited for you guys to see that.”

The actress also added: “I mean I always try to do positive words and positive thinking, and I believe that good words manifest. So I’m manifesting a ‘Black Panther 3’—why not?”
As expected the film has done some great business at the Box Office. The third will also most likely see Ryan Coogler returning to his role as the director.
Black Panther 2 Delivers McU’s First-Ever Gloden Globe in Acting Category
Moreover, The Golden Globe award show was the perfect night not only for Wakanda Forever cast but also for Marvel Studios. Angela Bassett grabbed the 2023 Golden Globe award for Best Supporting Actress category for her stunning performance as Ramonda in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
The other nominees other than Angela Bassett for the award were:
- Kerry Condon for The Banshees of Inisherin
- Jamie Lee Curtis for Everything Everywhere All at Once
- Dolly De Leon for Triangle of Sadness
- Carey Mulligan for She Said
This win by Angela Bassett marks a historical moment for Marvel Studios, as her acting not only brought the first-ever Golden Globe for MCU Movie Acting but also the first-ever MCU film to earn an acting nomination.
Where and How Does Black Panther 3 Fit In Phase 6 Slots
With Letitia Wright’s comments, the Black Panther 3 is highly unlikely before Avengers: Secret Wars. Though there are many empty slots in Phase VI, Black Panther 3 may only come after two big Avengers films.
Black Panther was always a massive part of the Marvel franchise. But the pandemic made the second film come so late. Marvel does not prefer to put such a unique project before the massive and most awaited project like Avengers.
But there are strong rumors regarding a Disney+ series focussing on the land of Wakanda and its deep-rooted culture. Okoye and Midnight Angels will possibly feature in that show. But the whole series will happen under Ryan Coogler. But there is no official announcement from the studio to this day.
The official plot synopsis suggests about Black Panther: Wakanda Forever suggests: “Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda.”
Black Panther 2 was the final film of MCU Phase IV and the Black Panther 3 plot will not fit inside the Multiverse saga. But the film may introduce Storm from the X-Men to the MCU as Mutants are now officially part of Disney. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be available on Disney+ Hotstar on February 1.
