Legendary Bollywood actress Sridevi has passed away suddenly due to cardiac arrest. According to reports, the 54-year-old actress was in Dubai for the wedding of her nephew, Mohit Marwah.
Sridevi is a child actor who built a career in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada films alongside her Hindi film career. She won the love of millions in the 90s with films like “Mr. India” “Judaai,” and “Chandi.” Not to mention her award-winning films such as “Lamhe” and “Chaalbaaz.” After a successful career in her youth, she continued to break the mold by continuing her acting career and proving you don’t need to be 25 and wear a bikini to be a star.
She took home great accolades for “English Vinglish” and her latest release was the thriller “Mom.” She was even awarded the Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian honor, in 2013. Needless to say, the entertainment industry and fans across the world are mourning the loss of such a talented and beautiful soul.

Never known anyone who was so painfully shy, so quiet off screen, who just transformed into a force of nature when the cameras came on. She was an interviewer’s nightmare, but the movie-buff’s dream. You will be missed, Sridevi. Thank you for the movies.
