Kroy Biermann and his wife Kim Zolciak are heading in the direction of divorce again! The former NFL player has filed for divorce from The Real Housewives of Atlanta star for the second time now.
The news of their divorce comes just 2 months after their reconciliation. As per the divorce documents obtained by TMZ, Kroy re-filed for divorce from his wife Kim on August 24, 2023.

It seems like Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak’s marriage is “irretrievably broken.” According to the documents acquired by the media outlet TMZ, the former American football player has filed the paperwork to end his marriage to the reality TV star nearly 2 months after they called off their divorce.
It has been reported by the publication that Kroy is asking for the sole legal and physical custody of their four minor kids: Kroy Jr., 11, Kash, 10, and 9-year-old twins Kane and Kaia. Along with this, he is seeking child support as well as alimony.
For those of you who are unaware, let us share with you, that Kim and Kroy first filed for divorce earlier this year in May after 11 years of marriage. In the divorce papers, she referred to the pair’s marriage as “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.” They cited April 30, 2023, as the date of their separation.
In July 2023, it was revealed that Kroy and Zolciak decided to reconcile and they called off their divorce. At that point, a source told People magazine, “They’re getting along and calling off the divorce. They’re trying to make it work for the kids.”

Kim and Kroy were first introduced to each other at a charity event called Dancing Stars of Atlanta which was filmed for season 3 of the show The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Their first interaction was also caught on the cameras. During their first meeting, Zolciak told Biermann, “I’ve never in my life seen an ass like that. I just had to tell you. Adorable.”
Soon after, the former Atlanta Falcons linebacker and the Bravo personality began dating. The two of them walked down the aisle in the year 2011. They exchanged their vows in November 2011 at their Georgia home. Their wedding was documented for a RHOA spinoff called Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding.
Kim and Kroy welcomed their first child together, son Kroy Jagger, aka KJ in 2011. Their second bundle of joy, son Kash came into the world in 2012. Zolciak gave birth to the pair’s twins, Kaia and Kane in 2013.
In addition to this, Zolciak is also a doting mother to her two daughters: Brielle and Ariana from her previous relationship. Biermann legally adopted them in July 2013.
