Daniel Radcliffe is going to be a dad! The Harry Potter alum and his longtime girlfriend Erin Darke are expecting their first child together. The amazing news was recently confirmed by the actor’s representative.

Daniel’s representative shared the piece of happy news on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Prior to that, Radcliffe and Erin were spotted out and about in New York City. The two of them were seen strolling through the streets of NYC.
For the outing, the mom-to-be opted for a black zip-up hoodie that put her baby bump on display. She styled her black hoodie with a pair of matching leggings and a black and white checked peacoat. She added a bit of color to her outfit with her orange boots. She pulled her hair back in a high bun.
Radcliffe, for his part, looked dapper in a navy puffer jacket and a pair of black pants. He completed his cozy look with a pair of black shoes and a bright blue and yellow winter hat.
During a March 2022 interview with People magazine, the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix star stated that he and his girlfriend Erin Darke are really happy together. At that time, he told the magazine, “I’ve got a really nice life. I’ve been with my girlfriend for a decade, pretty much.”

Daniel and Erin crossed paths for the first time on the sets of the 2013 indie flick Kill Your Darlings. In the movie, Darke’s character sparks a brief flirtation with Radcliffe’s character, before the two of them share an intimate moment in a library.
The couple was first clicked by the paps at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, where they were promoting the film. At that time, a close source told Us Weekly, “They were affectionate most of the night.”
Another insider mentioned that the Good Girls Revolt actress “was touching his knee” at their VIP table. An eyewitness went on to say, “They were a little more obvious outside the venue after they were leaving.”
On the other hand, Daniel stated that the 2013 movie Kill Your Darlings serves as a recording of their early romance. In an October 2015 interview with Playboy, he spilled the beans on his romance with Erin including the pair’s first meeting.
At that point, the England native said, “That’s a wonderful record of us flirting for the first time. There’s no acting going on — not from my end, anyway. The Critics Choice Award winner further added, “We definitely like [working together], but it’s not something we want to do all the time. Hopefully we’ll get to do more in the future, but we also both write. So maybe we’d write something together at some point, and that would be cool.”

During an October 2022 interview with Newsweek, Daniel went on to say that he wouldn’t want fame for his kid, although, he said, “I want my kids, if and when they exist… I would love them to be around film sets.”
The Tailor of Panama star further added, “A dream would be for them to come onto a film set and be like, ‘God, you know, I’d love to be in the art department. I’d love to be something in the crew.'”
Radcliffe concluded by saying, “Film sets are wonderful places. I think a lot of the time it can be wonderful for kids. But it’s really the fame side of it that should be avoided at all costs.”
