An exciting news for the fans of gambling crazed students of Hyakkaou Private Academy, the creators of Kakegurui has decided to start a spin-off of this popular anime.
Written by Homura Kawamoto, Kakegurui is an anime series based on the comic book with same name. Where Toru Naomura is the illustrator of the show, MAPPA has animated the series. The story is about one of Japan’s most renowned schools, Hyakkaou Private Academy, where, only the rich can enroll. However, unlike most schools, this one is administered by the Student Council and has a terrifying hierarchy based on gambling.
Till now two seasons there are two seasons of the show, and then Netflix released the second season in 2019. After which there was not much to talk about the anime until recently when the creators of Kakegurui decided to start a spin-off of the series. Release Date of Kakegurui Twins
The Kakegurui Twins anime is set be released on Netflix in August 2022 with MAPPA being the animator of the anime, again. So mark your calendars and wait for this upcoming spin-off. However, there is no trailer out yet.

Plot of the Kakegurui Twins.
Kakegurui is about Yumeko Jabami, a freshman at the academy. She has reshaped the institution’s hierarchy with her ravenous gambling habit and excellent ability to evaluate how each system is stacked.
As per Yen Press plot of the spin off would be- “A year before Yumeko Jabami graced the hallowed halls of Hyakkou Private Academy, Mary Saotome got her own start at the gambling-addicted school. Can this normal girl achieve her own rags-to-riches story through wits and luck? Find out in this prequel to the mega-popular Kakegurui!”
Therefore, Mary’s troubles in the renowned school where gambling is the lifeline will the highlight of Kakegurui Twin.
We all are very excited about the upcoming series. It is also a good news that Minami Tanaka will resume her role as Mary’s voice actress. In addition, some new faces will be introduced to the cast.
