K-Drama Island Episode 3 and 4: Release Date, Time & Preview

Cha Eunwoo’s latest fantasy K-drama “Island” has already made the fans crazy with its excellent cinematography, story, and star cast. This horror fantasy drama is full of action and thriller. The first 2 episodes of the drama are already out. Both episodes have made the fans eager to know when episodes 3 and 4 are coming.

K-drama star Cha Eunwoo is acting as a charming priest, but he is probably not the main lead. Kim Nam Gil and Lee Da Hee are sharing the screen as the protagonists of the story. The drama is a joint effort of TVING and Amazon Prime Video. The show has already become one of the most highly anticipated Korean Dramas of 2023.

When will Episodes 3 and 4 come?

Island is available to watch on the streaming platform, TVing in South Korea. But Amazon Prime Video has the streaming rights of the show for global audiences.

Episodes 3 and 4 will be released on January 6 at 12 pm on Korean Standard time. Later the English-subbed version of the drama will be available on Amazon Prime with English subtitles for global viewers around 12.30 pm KST. But the release date and time may vary to respective time zones.

• KST: January 6 at 12 pm.
• ET: January 5 at 10 pm.
• PT: January 5 at 7 pm.

Surprisingly, Island will have a total of 6 episodes. Every week the fans get to see two episodes every Friday for three weeks.

What to Expect From Island Episode 3 & Episode 4?

The official plot synopsis on Prime Video suggests: “Evil took its first step to destroy the world. On the mysterious island of Jeju Island, the gateway to this, “Van,” a mix of human and monster, “Won Mi-ho,” the one in the center of fate, and “Johan,” the one who exercises God’s power, come together. A strange, yet captivating, action-packed exorcism fantasy in which they fight evil, share the fate of saving the world, and defy their own…”

The episode 3 preview is available on Instagram. The video is shared with the caption: “‘I got caught’ A mysterious voice calling Lee Da-hee X Cha Eun-woo and Kim Nam-gil in danger?”

As the preview shows, Won Miho and Yohan will try to find a missing schoolgirl together. On the other hand, a mysterious supernatural being Van will meet someone from the past who will call from behind. This “mysterious voice” is probably Van’s brother Goong Tan who may also be the primary antagonist of the series. Goong Tan has already been teased from the 1st episode.

However, Miho and Yohan will find someone who knows how to end the evil on Jeju Island, and the girl who was shown in episode 2 will assist them.

Despite having such a big cast, the drama has not received very positive reviews from its first two episodes. With more episodes to come, the ratings will go up of the series. The drama is adapted from the manhwa and webtoon of Inwan Youn and illustrated by Kyungil Yang with the same title.
