What Is The Lawsuit About?
Justin Bieber and Kodak Black are facing a lawsuit for last year’s after-party during the Super Bowl weekend. Two men, Mark Shaefer and Adam Rahman claim that they were shot and severely injured outside The Nice Guy in L.A, and are putting the blame on Justin, Kodak and the venue. … and they’re blaming Justin, Kodak and the venue.
Per the lawsuit, rapper Kodak Black served as the catalyst for the shooting and Nice Guy (LA after-party venue) was to blame for hiring security guards who couldn’t handle the job or protect people at the venue. The court documents have officially listed Kodak, Justin, The Hwood Group, The Nice Guy the city of Los Angeles, the city of West Hollywood, and Los Angeles County as defendants.
Kodak Black’s attorney, on the other hand, responded to the lawsuit, revealing that it deserves to be dismissed immediately, and holds no merit. “This is the most poorly drafted complaint I have seen in 26 years. I expect Kodak to be dismissed from the suit fairly quickly. There is zero specificity in the complaint and the defendants have been grouped all together instead of making specific allegations against each.”
Mocking the lawsuit further, Kodaks’ attorney claimed that “it’s law school 101 and I am embarrassed that Ms Allred actually signed her name to the complaint.” Justin Bieber, on the other hand, hasn’t responded to the lawsuit yet.

Last year, rapper Kodak Black was among the four people shot outside of a bar in LA’s West Hollywood, where people gathered to attend an after-party following Bieber’s concert. Kodak was transported to an area hospital to recover from injuries. It was reported that some sort of physical altercation happened and shots were fired around 2:45 a.m. Mark Schaefer and Adam Rahman claim they were also shot during the chaotic scene.
After news of this “weird” lawsuit was released, Twitter users had different opinions about who should be held responsible for the chaotic incident. One user wrote, “Kodak is at fault.. why to mention Justin just because it was after his performance?” Another wrote, “Didn’t Justin leave before anything happened he wasn’t even there at the time this took place why bring him up like he know or saw anything yall just want clout at this point.” What do you think about this lawsuit?
