Coachella is on fire
Justin Bieber is touring the United States to give a surprise performance on the opening night of the 2022 Coachella Festival. Not just this, Coachella production sources have confirmed that the “Changes” star will be performing “Peaches” with fellow singer Daniel Caesar. The festival starts today and Justin is about to rock the stage.
The two Canadian stars will be setting the stage on fire with Justin’s hit Peaches, which received four nominations at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Music Video and Song of the Year.
However, it is not confirmed if Giveon will also make an appearance. The fun does not end here. Justin gave a rocking performance in Miami on Wednesday as a part of his “Justice World Tour”. There are speculations that the Canadian singer may perform one more song at the upcoming festival.
This is not the first time that Justin Bieber will be making a guest appearance at Coachella. In 2019, he surprised his fans after making his return to the stage after a long break from the spotlight.
Bieber made a guest appearance alongside Ariana Grande during her headline performance at the 2019 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The longtime pals released the single “Stuck With U” in 2020 to help raise funds for the first responders of the Covid-19 pandemic and their families.
The Making of Peaches…
Justin’s hit song Peaches has a story to tell. He started writing the chorus of “Peaches” at Andrew Watt house’s while hanging out with Shawn Mendes and the former. Watt introduced Bieber to his home studio and asked him to play the drums.
Justin recorded a drum beat and then continued on the piano to play some chords. They recorded everything. Watt also recorded some bass and guitar while Justin played along by talking words back and forth for fun.
Thereafter, Justin asked Watt to send him a demo and later he posted a snippet of this song while playing the piano on his Instagram. This is how the song was created and caught the attention of Shndo who decided to produce the song.
The team speed up the song and a few days later, Bieber contacted Given and Daniel Caesar to be a part of it. Rest is history. Peaches became a hit across the world and sought four nominations at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
Justin’s surprise performance comes as a sigh of relief for the fans who were heartbroken by Kanye’s decision to cancel his performance. Even though the headliners, Swedish House Mafia and Weeknd are a great deal, Justin’s entry is like the sweet cherry on the top of the cake. What do you think?
