However, the release date of the Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 on Crunchyroll has not been announced yet.

The Upcoming Season will Feature Gojo Satoru’s Past Arc and Shibuya Incident Arc

The first part of the second season will focus on Gojo’s past arc. “Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto have been assigned a mission to escort the Star Plasma Vessel to Master Tengen. When they’re ambushed by Toji Fushiguro, a mercenary known as the Sorcerer Killer, will Gojo and Geto survive?,” reads the manga arc description.

In the second part, the Shibuya Incident arc will be explored, which focuses on Geto’s plan to entrap all civilians in Shibuya station. “October 31st arrives, and Suguru Geto’s plan is in motion. A curtain is cast to trap civilians in Shibuya, with many of them begging for one man, Satoru Gojo! Multiple squads of sorcerers are dispatched to the scene,” says the arc description.

The First Season Featured 24 Episodes

Much like the debut season, the upcoming installment is also expected to feature 24 episodes, which will air on Crunchyroll outside Asia. The synopsis for the show by the streaming platform reads, “Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life.”

“One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna.”

“Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses… and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back,” it reads further.
