On June 17, 2021, the amazing ‘iCarly‘ series premiered on Paramount+. The show is performing well, and we’ve already received Season 2 updates, despite the fact that it was only released a few months ago.
Carly Shay has returned to Seattle, where she shares a flat with her roommate Harper, nine years after the events of the previous series. Spencer, Carly’s older brother, has made a fortune as an artist after unintentionally producing a renowned sculpture.
Freddie Benson has returned to live with his mother, followed by his adopted 11-year-old stepdaughter Millicent, after two divorces and an unsuccessful tech start-up.
Bushwell Plaza, the apartment complex where the initial show was set, is home to all of the key characters. Carly enlists the support of Spencer, Freddie, and her new friends when she decides to revive her iCarly webshow.
iCarly Reboot Season 2 Renewed
The series got renewed for a second season in July 2021. And don’t you think that’s fantastic news? The first season received excellent reviews from critics.
Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor, Nathan Kress, Laci Mosley, and Jaidyn Triplett feature in the series, with Cosgrove, Trainor, and Kress returning their initial series roles.
Here’s some more excellent news, shooting for the second season began in October 2021. This indicates that we will receive updates in the near future. The official tweet states, ‘Did you miss us?’ And obviously all of us did!

iCarly Season 2 Is Going To Star Josh Peck
Ahhh! Some great news again. Josh Peck will feature in the upcoming season of the Paramount+ reboot of iCarly as a recurring guest. Peck has been featured as Carly’s brash manager, Paul. Who gets off to a terrible start with Freddie when his ‘ambitious’ management practices disrupt the group’s connection.
After all these years, it appears that viewers will finally be able to watch the former Drake & Josh. And that’s going to be amazing. Peck also told everyone about his experience reuniting with his former co-star.
He stated, “Miranda is a good friend of mine, and when they announced the new iCarly, we chatted about finding something fun for me to play. Being on the iCarly set after all these years feels very full circle and I love getting to work with Miranda, Nathan [Kress] and Jerry [Trainor] again. I’m excited to be able to be a part of what they’re creating.”
Carly, in classic Carly manner, will try to please all parties, despite the fact that she is caught in the midst. This show was originally intended to be a children’s show, but look where we are now.
We’ve been hooked on the show because of the outstanding comedy and the characters, and now we’re looking for season details. Now that the show is under development, we’ll keep you informed of any further updates. Stay tuned, with us!
