Hedy Lamarr was born on November 14, 1914. She was an actress and an inventor. Her real name was Hedwig Eva Maria Kiesler. She was one of the greatest actresses of all time.
Lamarr found her way to Hollywood post fleeing Austria with her husband. Soon afterward, she met Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studio head Louis B. Mayer and he offered her an acting contract.
