Johnny Depp scores $20 million deal with Dior
Yeah, you read that right. It has been reported by Variety, that the A Nightmare on Elm Street star has signed a massive $20 million deal with Dior. Sources have told the media outlet that the company and Depp have signed a three-year deal. It is the biggest deal in the history of men’s fragrance partnerships.
The Batman star Robert Pattinson became the face of the renowned brand Dior in the year 2013. Then, he sealed his deal with the brand for their Homme fragrance for a staggering $12 million.
Back in the day, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor Brad Pitt signed a $7 million deal to promote Chanel No.5. The Don’t Worry Darling actor Chris Pine has bagged $4 million per year in his kitty for his pact with Armani for three years.
For those of you who are unaware, let us share with you, Johnny’s deal with Dior might be new but this relationship with the brand goes way back. He has been starring in advertisements for the brand’s Sauvage cologne since the year 2015.

Last year, Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard spent almost a month in Virginia’s court tearing each other apart. The jury’s verdict was in favor of Depp and it was concluded that Heard defamed him when she described herself in a 2018 Washington Post op-Ed as “a public figure representing domestic abuse” who “felt the full force of our culture’s wrath for women who speak out.”
At the end of the trial, the jury awarded $10 million to Depp in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages, but the judge reduced the punitive damages award to $350,000. On the other hand, Amber walked away with $2 million in compensatory damages.
