John Wick: Chapter 4, the newest installment in the action thriller film franchise, has now arrived in cinemas and has been able to garner the love of the audience much like the previous films. The film marks the fourth collaboration of the director-actor duo of Chad Stahelski and Keanu Reeves.

John Wick: Chapter 4 Filming Locations
The film was mainly shot in New York, Japan, Germany, France, and Jordan. The cameras started rolling in June 2021, and the filming concluded in October of the same year. Reportedly, $100 million were spent on the filming. Now let’s have a detailed look at all the locations where the film was shot:
Berlin, Germany
A number of important scenes of John Wick: Chapter 4 were filmed in Berlin, the largest city and the capital of Germany. Indoor shoots were executed at Sacred Heart Church and Alte Nationalgalerie in the city. The crew was also seen in action at Kraftwerk Berlin and Gendarmenmarkt, the historical market square.
The Studio Babelsberg AG in Potsdam in Berlin/Brandenburg metropolitan region was also utilized as a filming location. The studio is counted among the largest in Europe. It comprises 21 sound stages, a water tank, a huge back lot area, and a life-sized suburban train.
Tokyo, Japan
A few sequences of the film were also shot in Tokyo, the capital of Japan. The cast and crew were seen filming at The National Art Center in Minato City. Another city in Japan, Osaka, also served as a filming location.
Osaka is a major financial hub and the second-largest metropolitan area in Japan. The city is known for its world-class universities and for housing the headquarters of a number of electronics companies. Earlier, films like The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, The Wolverine, The Karate Kid 2, and Godzilla were also shot in Japan.
Paris, France
John Wick: Chapter 4 was also filmed in Paris, the capital of France. Several iconic places in the scenic city were utilized as filming locations, including the Louvre Museum at Rue de Rivoli. Some scenes were also taped in Saint-Eustache Church, The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, and Palais Garnier.
The production team was also spotted at Montmartre, Arc de Triomphe on Pl. Charles de Gaulle, Place Suzanne-Valadon, Luxembourg Garden, Mairie des Lilas in Les Lilas, and the Trocadéro Square. Paris has earlier served as a shooting location for Inception, The Da Vinci Code, The Bourne Identity, and Before Sunset.
New York City, USA
Some additional scenes for the film were recorded in New York City. The cast and crew were spotted filming at Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms State Park on NYC’s Roosevelt Island. The city comprises a number of studios that make production easy, and hence a number of films and television series have been set in NYC in the past.
Aqaba, Jordan
Aqaba, a port city in Jordan, was reportedly used to record the opening sequence of John Wick: Chapter 4. The Wadi Rum Desert, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site near the city, is also featured in the film.
