The President of the United States, Joe Biden faced an embarrassing moment as the 80-year-old politician fell off the stage at the prestigious, Air Force Academy Graduation. But again, the president handled the situation well, walking away unassisted once he returned to his feet.
Joe Biden Gets Sandbagged, Walks Away Unassisted
Joe Biden faced a rather embarrassing moment at the Air Force Academy Graduation, after the 80-year-old president, who was present to deliver the commencement address, fell near the podium as he stepped away after shaking hands with the proud graduates.
The president was quickly helped back to his feet by Secret Service agents and an Air Force officer. But again, Biden joked later from the White House: I got sandbagged. During the incident, he walked away unassisted, continuing to greet people for the rest of the ceremony.

It is reported by pool reporters that Joe Biden tripped on a black sandbag being used to “steady his teleprompter,” a situation that could have happened to anyone. The White House communications director tweeted following the embarrassing videos that got circulated, stating,”He’s fine. There was a sandbag on stage while he was shaking hands.”
Donald Trump Reacts To Joe Biden’s Incident
Republicans have continued to question Joe Biden’s capability to run as president, owing to his bad physical health. As they continue to question his caliber to serve effectively, the president declared it will be up to voters to judge “whether or not I have it or don’t have it.”
He added: “I respect them taking a hard look at it — I’d take a hard look at it, as well. I took a hard look at it before I decided to run, and I feel good. I feel excited about the prospects.”
Donald Trump, who will also be in his 80s if elected, recently commented on the situation from Iowa: “I hope he’s not hurt. The whole thing is crazy … even if you have to tip-toe down the ramp. Trump too tripped during the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 2020.
Joe Biden recently came under fire for a cheat sheet controversy after he was photographed, hiding a cheat sheet, which detailed a Los Angeles Times journalist, Courtney Subramanian’s question.
The photographs were taken at a joint press conference with South Korean President, Yoon Suk Yeol. The event took place to celebrate 70 years of US-South Korean ties, in the White House Rose Garden in Washington, DC, on Wednesday (April 25, 2023).
While these crib sheets do not reflect any propaganda, Republicans have often used this subject to mock Biden’s mental fitness to run the country. Last year in June, Biden was seen holding a cheat sheet, which included basic directions for him, like: “YOU take YOUR seat”, “YOU give brief comments”, and “YOU depart”, among others.
