They are closing the chapter on their story. After 25 years of marriage, Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin have decided to end their relationship. According to court records, a divorce petition was filed by Flavin, 54, in Palm Beach County, Florida, on Thursday, August 19.
She is reported to have passed the Rocky actor’s divorce papers and accused the actor of transferring assets from their joint marital funds in addition to handing him the divorce papers.
In Her Statement, Jennifer Claimed That Sylvester Hid Assets From Her
Before their divorce proceedings, the 54-year-old woman allegedly requested sole possession of their family home in Palm Beach. Jennifer claimed in her divorce paperwork that Sylvester had hidden assets from her while she was getting divorced.
As stated in the documents, they read, “Upon information and belief, the Husband has engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets, which has had an adverse economic impact on the marital estate. Pursuant to Section 61.075, Florida Statues, equity dictates that the Wife be compensated and made whole by receiving an unequal distribution of the marital assets in her favour. Moreover, the Husband should be enjoined from, selling, transferring, assigning, encumbering, or dissipating any assets during the pendency of proceedings.”
In Recent Weeks, Sylvester Has Sparked Rumors His Marriage May Be In Trouble
It comes after Sylvester had sparked speculation that his marriage may be in trouble earlier this month after he got a picture of his dog tattooed on his right bicep, which covered up the image of his wife on his right bicep.
On the other hand, his wife has taken his Instagram account off the list of followers and posted a photo with their three daughters on her account, writing: “These girls are my priority.”. Nothing else matters. The 4 of us forever.” However, Stallone’s publicist maintained that there were no problems between the couple and that it was only a misunderstanding.
Earlier this week, it was reported that a plan to refresh the portrait of his wife was botched and that he has covered the damage with an inking of Butkus, Rocky’s bull mastiff in the hit movie franchise.
During an interview, a representative of Mr Stallone said that while the actor planned on updating his wife’s tattoo image, the results were unsatisfactory and unfixable. To hide the image, the picture had to be covered up by a tattoo of his dog from Rocky, Butkus.
The Couple Celebrated A Milestone Anniversary
As part of a milestone anniversary celebration earlier this year, “Happy 25th anniversary to my amazing wife,” Creed’s star wrote in the caption of an Instagram tribute he sent to his wife back in May. “There are not enough words to describe what this incredibly selfless, dedicated, patient woman has meant to our lives, and I only wish they could be another 25! Thank you, sweetheart!”
It was between December 1974 and February 1985 when Stallone was previously married to Sasha Czack. Before calling it quits, Sage and Seargeoh, the ex-couple’s two sons, were born in 1976 and 1979, respectively. It is said that their eldest child, who was 36 years old at the time of his death, died of heart disease in 2012.
After separating from Czack in December 1985, the Rocky star married Brigitte Nielsen on December 25. It took them two years to pull the plug on their romance after being married for two years.
Following the pair’s arrival of their daughter Sophia in August 1996, the Golden Globe winner and Flavin became engaged in May 1997, less than one year after giving birth to their daughter Sophia. It was June 1998 when Sistine and Scarlet arrived, while it was May 2002 when Scarlet came. During the 74th annual Golden Globe Awards show in 2017, the trio made headlines when they were named Golden Globe Ambassadors for the event.
