Jenna Ushkowitz shared the great news on Instagram
On Friday, the 36-year-old took to her Instagram to share the piece of happy news with her fans all over the world. Jenna revealed that she has welcomed her first child, a baby girl with her husband David Stanley on the social media platform Instagram on May 3, 2022.
Jenna dropped a beautiful black and white snap of herself holding her newborn baby in her arms. “Our hearts have burst wide open ❤️”, she captioned the post.
In the picture shared by Ushkowitz on the social networking service Instagram we can see her dressed up in a hospital gown. She also wore a beautiful ‘mama’ necklace in the photo and she also tagged her husband in the post.
Soon after making the birth announcement of her baby, the Hello Again actress posted a boomerang of a sushi dinner to her Instagram Story, she simply captioned it, “I waited 10 long months for this.”
David and Jenna made their pregnancy announcement in January
Jenna and her husband David shared that they were expecting their first child, a baby girl together in January of this year. Previously, the actress dropped a greyscale picture of herself and her partner cradling her baby bump.
Around the time, Ushkowitz wrote, “Our hearts are so full… Baby Girl Stanley coming soon 💕”, in the caption of the post.
Jenna and David got married in July 2021
The couple tied the knot in July of 2021 in an intimate Los Angeles ceremony. For her wedding day, Jenna wore a strapless gown by Netta BenShabu and Kinsley James Couture Bridal. On the other hand, David opted for a tux from Hugo Boss.
Jenna posted the pictures from her wedding to David Stanley special day on Instagram as well. “Mr and Mrs Stanley 7.24.21 ✨ The MOST magical day getting to marry this man. We are honored to have all our wedding details in Brides’ first ever digital issue.. stay tuned… 😉”, she captioned the photo.
During an interview with Brides, the 1 Night in San Diego actress talked about her wedding nuptials. She said, “We always dreamed of a wedding on the smaller side, but with COVID, we definitely had to scale back more than we anticipated.”
Jenna further added, “Having our closest family and loved ones there (safely) was a priority for us. By setting the expectation from the get-go that we had to limit guests, we were able to focus our planning and ensure that we could stay flexible in case any element of the day needed to change.”
