Holy Family will be released on Netflix on October 14, 2022. The story begins in Melilla in 1998. It later relocates to the affluent Fuente del Berro neighborhood.

The haunting past of one of them, Gloria, [a purported single mother living with her son and her childminder Aitana] and the new arrival of someone in the neighborhood upends the companionship forged between a lot of women, all mothers.

“A family hiding a shocking secret starts over in Madrid, where new relationships complicate their plans and the past begins to catch up with them,” according to Netflix. We were captivated by the show’s eight episodes. Let us discover more about the continuation.

Holy Family Season 2 Renewal Status Explored

This Spanish series did receive good reviews from the audience but the renewal is still unknown. At the moment, neither the streaming platform nor the show’s creators have announced a second season.

And given how recently the series was revealed, this is pretty obvious. It will take a while to get updates on the continuation because it is dependent on viewership and audience preferences. But we do know that Spanish shows are doing well.

Many viewers believe that the series pitches a perfect thriller revolving around a neighborhood, which makes it more engaging.

Manolo Caro, the director, disclosed in a statement that the new fiction is based on an idea he had a few years ago and that he produced the series with his production company Noc Noc Cinema.

Holy Family started filming in Madrid and also had featured locations in Melilla, a Spanish city in North Africa on the Mediterranean Sea’s coast, as well as in a lot of cities in Spain.
