Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness are one of the most powerful couples in Hollywood. The two of them have a big age gap of a total of 13 years between them but for these lovebirds, age is just a number as they have been together since the mid-1990s.

1995: Hugh meets Furness for the first time

The Greatest Showman star and The Last of the Finest actress met each other for the first time in the year 1995 at work. At that point, the two of them shared a screen on the Australian television series, Corelli. In a 2017 interview with People magazine, Hugh recalled the pair’s meeting.

Jackman told the publication, “Deb, she was a big star. I get picked up, and Deb is in the front seat of the car. I’ll never forget. She took off her seatbelt, and she turned around and put out her hand and took off her sunglasses and said, ‘Hi, I’m Deborra-lee Furness, nice to meet you.’ I remember thinking, ‘I like this girl.’”

1995: Hugh confesses his true feelings to Deborra-Lee

August 29, 2022: Hugh and Deborra-Lee attend the US Open together

At the end of summer 2022, the pair marked their presence at the US Open together. Then, Hugh posted a snap of the pair on his Instagram page. The photo showed the couple all cozied on the stairs of their luxurious penthouse in New York before heading to the match.
