The movie’s engaging and entertaining plot heightens the audience’s interest. Turning Red is situated in Toronto between 2002 and 2003 and revolves around Meilin ‘Mei’ Lee, a 13-year-old Chinese-Canadian student.
She is startled to realize one morning that if she feels overly excited or anxious, she transforms into a gigantic red panda; yet, she can revert back if she becomes calm.
Mei subsequently discovers that her ancestors had a connection with the species as a family curse. Albeit the curse can be broken by executing a unique ritual on one precise night. That happens to coincide with a concert by her beloved boy band, 4*Town.

Turning Red Movie Release Date
On February 21, 2022, Turning Red was given a special premiere at Everyman Borough Yards in London.
Disney and Pixar revealed earlier this month that their next movie, Turning Red, will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on March 11, 2022. That is certainly exciting news for the audience.
In a statement on the upcoming animated movie, Disney’s head of the media and entertainment distribution division, Kareem Daniel, remarked, “Disney+ subscribers around the world enthusiastically embraced Pixar’s Academy Award-winning Soul and the critically acclaimed Luca when they premiered exclusively on the service and we look forward to bringing them Pixar’s next incredible feature movie Turning Red.”
How And Where To Watch The Animated Movie ‘Turning Red’ Movie?
As previously stated, the movie will be available exclusively on Disney+. And, if you’re asking about a theatrical release, don’t hold your sigh.
Yes, we know it was supposed to be released in theaters and subsequently on the streaming platform, but plans seemed to alter.
However, the movie will have a simultaneously limited showing at the El Capitan Theatre from March 11–17, 2022.

It was planned for a worldwide theatrical release, but the adjustment was made owing to additional COVID-19 pandemic disruption caused by the rapid spread of the Omicron variant.
The Pixar staff appeared to be disappointed that the movie will not be released in theaters around the world.
In an interview with Insider, a member of the Pixar team commented, “It’s safe to say that we’re all feeling extremely disappointed.
Until today, we all thought Turning Red would be our return to the big screen, and everyone at the studio was so excited about it being this film in particular. It was quite a blow.”
In response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Disney declared on February 28, 2022, that Turning Red would not be distributed in Russia.
