Bridge and Tunnel’s second season has concluded, and spectators are eagerly anticipating the next season. This is a dramedy series about two college graduates who leave their working-class Long Island hometown to pursue their ambitions in 1980s Manhattan.

Bridge And Tunnel Season 3 Is Not Happening
The Bridge and Tunnel have come to an end. Epix decided to cancel the series after only two seasons. The show’s downfall came just hours after EPIX announced that it would be rebranded MGM+. The series’ conclusion could be attributed to the rebranding.
EPIX is becoming MGM+. MGM+ president Michael Wright said in a statement at the time, “MGM is one of the most iconic and beloved brands from the golden age of entertainment.
This rebrand is a promise to existing and new viewers that MGM+ is the place to find a television that reflects and celebrates the legacy of the iconic MGM brand – cinematic programming with sophisticated storytelling that entertains, delights, surprises, and transports. MGM is television for movie lovers.”
It has also acclaimed famous shows like Godfather of Harlem.
The rebrand will initiate on January 15, 2022, coinciding with the third season premiere of the drama series Godfather of Harlem.
The press release announcement reads, “Premium and commercial-free service delivers cinematic original content, blockbuster premiere movies, and a curated theatrical library from MGM and leading Hollywood studios.
The rebranded network will continue to deliver premium content with scripted originals including the Emmy-winner Godfather of Harlem, the epic romantic adventure Billy the Kid, the contemporary sci-fi horror thriller FROM, and bold dramas Rogue Heroes and Belgravia.”

EPIX’s official description of the series reads, “Written, directed and produced by Edward Burns, this dramedy series set in 1980 revolves around a group of college grads setting out to pursue their dreams in Manhattan while still clinging to the familiarity of their working-class Long Island home town.”

My Long Island wife was dying for the release of season 2. And now that we finished watching it, she’s heartbroken to hear that there won’t be a season 3.

What a shame to see it go like this. Definitely one of the best shows on t.v. especially with all the other garbage content on now a days. If anyone can sell to another station it is you Mr. Burns. Never seen so much chemistry in a cast in my life. Let’s Go!!! We need season 3 and way beyond…

I like everything Ed Burns does. A third season for Bridge and Tunnel would be awesome. Became a fan when I saw Brothers Mcmullen.
I only just discovered Bridge and Tunnel and binge watched the two seasons. I loved it and thought it got better as the episodes progressed. I would have loved for there to be a season 3, and even beyond.
