Halle Berry calls out Drake for using a photo of her for ‘Slime You Out’ cover
On September 15, 2023, Friday, the Catwoman actress took to her Instagram page and shared a quote that read, “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy … even if you’re a woman!”
Soon after, Halle gave a direct answer to a fan in the comments section. A social media user asked her, “What are your thoughts on Drake using that picture of you for his single?”
The Kidnap star replied by writing, “Didn’t get my permission. That’s not cool. I thought better of him.” She went on to say, “Hence my post today. When people you admire disappoint you you have to be the bigger person and move on!”
Another social media user chimed in, “Y’all she has every right to be mad. It’s simple courtesy. It’s her picture and permission is needed. Period!” A comment read, “I don’t think Halle has to reply to negative. She said what she said. 🤷🏻♀️.”
Followed by a fourth fan who penned, “Gaining permission from others is always important when using anything that’s theirs (including their image and likeness). It’s sad that people often disregard the value of respect and courtesy.”
A user went on to say, “Y’all act like @halleberry isn’t the most mentioned woman is rap lyrics. @champagnepapi could’ve had the decency to ask her regardless who owns the image. It’s still HER image. Who in the game doesn’t know this Oscar winner? She obviously STILL relevant enough to have her pic used by him..”
When did Drake share the slimed picture of Halle Berry?
