The winner of The Voice season 23 has been revealed! The grand finale of season 23 of the singing competition show The Voice took place on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, and it aired at 9/8c on NBC.

Yeah, you read that right. Gina Miles from Team Niall has emerged as the winner of season 23 of the singing show The Voice. Grace West from Team Blake ended her run in the contest in second place.
D.Smooth from Team Kelly placed third. On the other hand, Sorelle from Team Chance and NOIVAS from Team Blake came in fourth and fifth position respectively. Carson Daly hosted the grand finale of the NBC competition series.

Gina Miles is the winner of The Voice season 23. She hails from Paxton, Illinois. At the moment, she is 19 years old. She wanted to pursue a career in music from a young age. So she decided to move in with her aunt in Sacramento.
Her dad was a DJ. For most of her life, she has grown around music. She was brought up by a single dad who DJ’d every weekend. After turning 14 years old, she wanted to take up music seriously so she took her dad’s help to get a few gigs. She dropped her first EP, Who Are You, in 2022.
Miles auditioned for The Voice by performing a stunning rendition of Katy Perry’s hit song The One That Got Away. Kelly Clarkson was the first coach to turn. Soon after, Niall turned his chair. Then, Kelly told her, “You had me in the beginning.” Niall recognized the “feel” and “character” in Gina’s voice. She ended up picking Horan as her coach.

This season of the show, The Voice marked the last season of Blake Shelton as a coach. He decided to quit the show after a total of 23 seasons. During the grand finale of the show, he got a heartfelt farewell. He was honored as the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) as he retires from The Voice.
Many stars including country music singer Dolly Parton, NASCAR star Jimmie Johnson, Olympic track and field champ Jackie Joyner-Kersee, former NFL star Peyton Manning, and Olympic champion Lindsey Vonn, came forward to honor Blake Shelton as he retired from the show.
On Tuesday night, Blake’s jean jacket which highlighted his 9-season wins was also retired. The host of the show Carson Daly also put some light on Blake Shelton’s stats on the show and said, “He has pushed his button nearly 600 times, coached over 300 artists, worn 210 pairs of boots and drunk 100 gallons of whatever is in this cup.”
Gwen Stefani shared a sweet message for her husband Blake Shelton as he retires from ‘The Voice’
Shelton’s wife Gwen Stefani, whom he met on the show The Voice also shared a video message where she talked about how their lives changed on the show and how she found her “soulmate.”
In the clip, Stefani can be heard saying, “When I first came on the show, our lives were having this parallel destruction happening and then next thing you know Blake and I start becoming besties and falling in love. It’s hard for me to even talk about it without getting super emotional.”
Blake stated that he loved seeing the video and he told Daly that they reflect on their romance “at least once a week.” He further added, “We stop and go, ‘Can you believe that happened? We met each other on the show and the circumstances? And it’s just been the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me in my life.”

In October 2022, the Come Back As A Country Boy singer disclosed that he was ready to close the chapter of The Voice. At that time, the longtime coach issued a lengthy statement on his Instagram account. He also revealed the reason behind his departure from the singing show.
Then, Blake said, “I’ve been wrestling with this for a while, and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from The Voice after next season. He went on to say that the reality singing show ‘changed his life in every way for the better.’”
The country singer continued, “I have to give a huge shoutout to the singers — the voices who come on this stage season after season and amaze us with their talent and a special thanks to those who chose me to be their coach.”
Shelton ended the statement by offering a token of thanks to all the fans of the show The Voice. In addition to this, he also thanked the cast and crew of the reality competition for their dedication over the years. He described his co-stars as his “lifelong” friends.
