  1. The truth is Don Chapel and his sister Jean help to open the doors of Nashville to Tammy Wynette. The series is basically flawed in the telling of her history. Don was a devoted husband when he met her they both had the agenda of being superstars in Nashville at any cost. After those doors were opened Tammy rolled those big eyes at George Jones and the rest is history. Don Chapel was my ex brother in law.
