Gal Gadot is on the news again as the actor is set to rejoin the Fast and Furious franchise as per reports. Gadot is no stranger to the franchise as she was last seen in Fast & Furious 6. Her return for Fast X is massive news for the franchise.
Gal Gadot’s Uncertain DCU Future
After leaving the Fast and Furious franchise, Gal Gadot joined DCU for the role of Wonder Woman. She first appeared in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016 in an extended cameo role. Her solo film became one of the biggest hits of Warner Brothers.
Wonder Woman’s success gave the studio a major pathway to the other DC films. Gal Gadot last appeared in 2020’s Wonder Woman 1984 which was a massive failure at Box Office.
But recently after James Gunn and Peter Safran became the DCU heads, they first canceled Wonder Woman 3 due to creative differences with Patty Jenkins. DC Studios is now trying to move in a new direction. For now, there is no update on Gal Gadot’s future as the Amazonian princess.
Gal Gadot’s Journey as Gisele in Fast and Furious Franchise
Fast and Furious is a 20-year-long saga that is still continuing by getting massive hits with each part. Gadot first appeared in Fast & Furious in 2009. She later appeared in Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6 as Gisele. But she ended up dying in the 6th part of the series.
But Gisele’s love interest Han has returned to the series in the F9. Sung-Ho Kang will reprise his role in the upcoming Fast X. But Not only Gadot, her Justice League colleague Jason Momoa will make his debut in the Fast & Furious series as the villain of the plot.

There is still no official announcement to confirm her return. After Original director Justin Lin left the film recently, The Incredible Hulk’s director Louis Leterrier has taken over the directorial role.
Gadot has a number of projects coming in a few years. She will be the star of Heart of Stone, an upcoming Netflix film. She will also appear in Disney’s upcoming Snow White as Evil Queen. Her return to Fast And Furious will surely make fans more excited. The film will hit the theatres on May 19, 2023, and fans may expect a teaser trailer soon.
