Lily Collins is back with her French-American routine.
If you’ve been wanting to know more about Emily in Paris season 3, you’ll be happy to know that production has already started. The series, set and filmed in Paris, stars Lily Collins as Emily, an American who moves to France to provide an American perspective to Savoir, a French marketing firm.
There, she challenges to succeed at work while looking for love and dealing with a clash of cultures with her boring and mundane Midwestern U.S. upbringing.
We’ve been watching love triangles, workplace troubles, and an impeccable friendship since season one of the show. Emily appears to be back with all of those things for another blockbuster season.
Emily In Paris Season 3 Is In The Making
Netflix renewed the series for a third and fourth season on January 10, 2022. And we’ve been waiting for the production to start ever since. We know there will be plenty of updates available once production begins.
Finally, the show’s official social media account and the cast and crew announced something about the production. Emily in Paris season 3 is officially in production.
The first image displayed ‘Emily In Paris.’ And in the second, we’ve gotten everyone’s favorite Emily [Lily Collins] and her bestie Ashley Park pumped for another season. The caption reads, “Back at the table together, and it’s not for a client meeting or a dinner party. Production on season 3 is starting now!”
Lily Collins also posted the announcement on her personal account. Lilly penned, “Reunited in Paris! Let season 3 filming begin!”
Ashley Park also announced the exciting news on her Instagram handle. Writing, “Those Americans roaming Paris again yayyyyy!”
The Creator Of The Show Was Surprised About Something
According to Darren Star, it is shocking that anyone could be offended by anything in the show. In reality, the show is a lighthearted romantic comedy.
“I was surprised that people would ever be offended by anything in the show. It’s a lighthearted romantic comedy.
I kept thinking, ‘Nobody can really be that thin-skinned’ — we’re poking fun at a cliché, but they’re clichés that everyone has experienced at one time or another, both from the American point of view and the French point of view. That’s what it’s about.”
About The Outfits Of ‘Emily In Paris’ Season 3
What’s more exciting to watch than Lily Collins and the show’s amazing narrative? Obviously, the show’s outfit. And we can’t wait to see what Season 3’s outfit will be. However, designer Marylin Fitoussi revealed that she has already begun planning the wardrobe for Season 3.
“My dream for season 3 would be to recycle costumes [from] season 1. I don’t know if we can do that, but I’m dreaming to bring some of Lily’s most iconic outfits to the recycling workshop and see what they can do and recut and make.”
The Production’s Expected Date Was Already Revealed
In April, actor William Abadie hinted at when the season would officially begin production. And this is what he said.
“We’re fully in pre-production and I think we’re supposed to head to Paris early in June, so I’m foreseeing a little bit of that soon to come. I’m also foreseeing, with the arrival of Alfie and London, we maybe spend a little time over there.”
He added, “Nothing has been [made] official, so don’t take my word for it, but I think it might happen that we might end up in London for a minute.”
You can rest assured that there will be a lot going on in the upcoming season of Emily in Paris. And Emily must make some life-altering decisions. In that case, you’re welcome to stay tuned with us for more updates.
