Disney Plus has finally dropped a glimpse of the much-awaited Disney+ series Loki season 2. The teaser also showed some upcoming shows to the Disney+ streaming services in 2023. Other than Loki, the teaser also contained the scenes from upcoming seasons of The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and Secret Invasion.
The teaser is even less than 1 minute but was enough to make the fans excited. But the short video also confirmed Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is coming in 2023.

The fans are most excited about season 2 of the Loki series. The video featured several clips of Tom Hiddleston’s Loki and Owen Wilson’s Mobius.
The trailer introduces Loki by saying “this handsome fellow”. In those little moments, the fans only get to see Time Variance Authority agent Morbius saying: “A little over the top, don’t you think”.
Marvel Entertainment also posted the teaser dedicated to the god of mischief. On Twitter, it is written: “Take it from the God of Mischief himself: We can’t wait for 2023 on Disney Plus.”
The short glimpse only shows Loki and Morbius wearing suits and having traveled back in the past.
What to Expect From Loki Season 2?
There are not many details about season 2 of the show besides its arriving at Disney+ in mid-2023. But no official announcement on a specific release date of the show.
The show will resume from the shocking ending in season 1. Loki will meet his female variant, Sylvia, again after they got separated at the end of season 1. Although Loki worked with his colleagues B-15 and Mobius, they were not able to recognize Loki at the end of the plot.
But the teaser confirms Mobius will recognize the god of mischief again and start their adventures again to stop the new variant of He Who Remains. Just like in season 1, Sylvia will play a major role in the plot as well.
Speculation on Loki Season 2 Villain and the Cast
Despite showing Kang’s statues in the final scene, Jonathan Majors has not confirmed his return yet for the Disney+ show. The actor will reprise his role of Kang as a different variant in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. He is the big bad villain in the MCU next to Thanos now.
Reports are suggesting Loki Season 2 will have a new antagonist. Game of Thrones actor Kate Dickie will reportedly be cast as the new villain for season 2. Her has not been disclosed yet by Marvel Studios.
Everything Everywhere All at Once star Ke Huy Quan will reportedly play “Oroborus,” who is in charge of technology at the Time Variance Authority.
So far, the confirmed main cast follows:
- Tom Hiddleston as Loki
- Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius
- Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie
- Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer
- Eugene Cordero as Hunter K-5E
- Tara Strong as Miss Minute
After having a multiverse journey, Loki season 1 ended in a surprising manner. But the second season will be more than that. Once, Hiddleston described the plot as “a battle for the soul of the TVA”.
However, this season will connect the Loki series to Phase IV, V, and VI’s Multiverse Saga. TVA will play a major part in the Multiverse Saga because of Kang’s involvement.
