Just in time!

This year is indeed a miraculous one thus far, especially with so many legit announcements right at the corner.

That being said, let’s address the latest one from Disney+ on its upcoming series Willow. The first teaser trailer was laid out during the Star Wars Celebration, which was a delightful offering if I could add.

With me so far? Let’s head to find out to watch the sizzling trailer of Willow thrown at us to catch exclusively by Disney+

Willow’s Trailer Speaks for Itself!

To have a refined look at the trailer which continues the story of the characters from the 1988 feature film.

Without keeping you on the waitlist, let’s give you a dose of Willow’s trailer. Here you go!

Oh, and that’s not all. The trailer date of the series has also been dropped. Curious, aren’t you?

The dark fantasy thriller is a sequel to the 1988 classic movie with the same name.

The trailer is deep as it showcases Warwick Davis’s character back into action. The trailer puts off quite a good show with revolving monsters, enhancements, and so on.

The Lucasfilm panel at the Star Wars Celebration night disposed of the live-action trailer with a few first-look images.

Furthermore, the series picks up the story right where it left off in the movie. With plenty of new characters and faces, we are likely about to get ourselves a treat. The story shows a group of heroes embarking on a dangerous journey to different places far from their homes. The objective is to face the demons and save the world.

In addition to Warwick Davis, Erin Kellyman, Tony Revolori, Amer Chadha-Patel, etc will be sitting in the casting seat. Warwick Davis will reprise his role as Willow Ufgood and will be the prime character of the series.

He aims to protect a baby from the vengeful queen, who also is adamant about taking over the world. Right now, other details related to the story are concealed.

The plot, Release Date, Directors, & More!

Since we already spoke about the cast of the series, let’s scour some more potential bits of information.

Willow belongs to Lucasfilm and thus will release under Disney+. The release date of the series has been booked for November 30th, 2022, Wednesday. The series is spun across eight episodes.

Speaking about the plot, which ships off from its previous will focus on Willow’s struggle to deliver the kid he spotted in the village. Willow has a tough journey throughout fighting battles amongst deadly monsters.

Helming his seat as the director, Ron Howard will be directing the spectacular series. Kathleen Kennedy and Jonathan Kasdan will serve as the executive producers. Kasdan is also the screenwriter along with John Bickerstaff and Hannah Friedman.

Due to timing conflicts, and other assignments, Jon M. Chu had to decline to be the director of the series. Stephen Woolfenden, Jamie Childs, and Debs Paterson will now do the honors of the directing responsibilities.
