The award season is almost over, with all the major awards, like the Golden Globes and the Oscars, having been announced. Now, a special award ceremony dedicated to horror films has also come into the picture, named the Dead Meat Horror Awards. However, unlike other honors, Dead Meat is not presented by an organization but by a YouTube channel.
The awards were first announced last year and met with a positive response from the viewers. On March 26, the second edition of the awards was announced on the Dead Meat YouTube channel to honor the best horror films and performances of the last year. Read on to see the full list of winners.

The Awards are Presented by James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca
Dead Meat’s James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca served as the presenters of the awards, just like the previous year. Audiences are now lauding the two for their efforts in promoting the horror genre.
“The effort James and Chelsea put into these is amazing. When award shows like the oscars dont take horror seriously it’s good to know the Horror Awards will do them justice,” wrote a viewer.
Another commented, “What a time to be a horror fan !! So happy to see overlooked movies that don’t get enough recognition. Wish we could have seen more foreign horror in the awards since last year there were so many good ones.”
