Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone in HBO Max Batman Spin Off
Milioti will play Sofia Falcone in the upcoming Batman series. Those who remember the character from the comic series, The Hangman, the serial killer who terrorized Gotham during Batman’s early years as a hero, were first introduced in The Long Halloween.
However, she returned in Dark Victory when it is revealed that Selina Kyle’s mother Paula Vreeke had assumed her identity and killed several innocent people over many years.
After witnessing her father’s murder at the hands of mob boss Oswald Cobblepot (aka The Penguin), Sofia became obsessed with avenging his death.
In this series, she might switch her target from Batman to The Penguin—although it’s possible that both will be victims in flashbacks or hallucinations due to psychosis caused by incarceration and torture.
Who All Are Attached To The Project?
Along with Miliotii as Falcone fighting with the penguins in the upcoming series, we would also see the veteran villain Colin Farrell to reprise his role as The Penguin with Matt Reeves, Dylan Clark and Lauren LeFranc.
Talking about the plot of the show Farrell revealed a few openings with the publications saying that the Penguin starts a week after Batman ends. From this, we can assume that Gotham city is still somewhere underwater.
He also shared that he has given the green light to the first two scrip sessions and he is introducing the character right from the running water in Falcone’s office.
