Chase Chrisley and Emmy Medders who got engaged in October 2022 have pulled the plug on their romance after 3 years together. On Tuesday, Chase took to his Instagram Story to confirm his split from his fiancée Emmy.
The reality TV star wrote, “Everybody has been asking questions regarding Emmy and myself. We both agreed to part ways and move on with our lives separately. Thank you for respecting our privacy.”
Soon after, Chase’s representative Adam Ambrose also issued a statement to People magazine that read, “The couple has decided to go their separate ways. Chase has nothing but love and respect for Emmy and wishes her well. Unfortunately things didn’t work and they are both moving on with their lives.”
When did Chase Chrisley and Emmy Medders get engaged?
For those of you who are unaware, let us share with you, that Chase and Emmy got engaged in October 2022. At that time, he shared the dreamy pictures from their proposal which took place at Nashville’s First Horizon Park on his Instagram page.
Then, he wrote, “I am the luckiest man in the world. Being able to call you mine forever is a blessing straight from God. You are the sunshine when it’s dark, you are the rain when it’s dry. I love you more than life itself and can’t wait to live forever with you! To you my love! Thank you for taking me FOREVER!!”
Chrisley referred to their baseball park engagement as the “perfect night.” Then, he told People magazine, “There’s no doubt I want to spend the rest of my life with Emmy. We can’t wait to build a family together.”
Earlier this year, in April, the pair even gave a wedding update. At that point, Medders told the media outlet that the pair hadn’t picked out a wedding date. During an Instagram Story Q+A session, she said, “No date yet! We are just really enjoying this engagement season right now.”
On the other hand, Chase talked about his interest in having children with Emmy. While making an appearance on the Chasin Birdies podcast, he said, “I want to have as many children as she wants to have. I want a big family. I mean, I come from a big family so I don’t ever want an empty house.
He went on to say, “Family is everything. I’d have a baby right now, but she wants to get married, do as [is] the traditional way, which I respect that. And it’s up to her. It’s her body.”
