Riverdale star Charles Melton has finally made his relationship Instagram official with Chase Sui Wonders. After months of dating, the actor posted their first photo together on the social media platform.
The photo shows the couple looking cozy as they enjoy the Brooklyn Cyclones game. The actors were seen wearing matching red and blue baseball caps. Continue reading to see the beautiful picture of the couple spending quality time together.
Reports of the Actors Dating Came Out in March This Year
The first reports of the two actors being together started doing the round in mid-march this year. The two had went on a stroll in New York City when they were spotted by some media sources. Melton and Wonders starred together in the 2022 short film Wake, which was written and directed by Wonders herself.
The following month, the 31 year old actor was seen giving the 26 year old actress a kiss on the cheek. At the time, a source close to E! News had reported that the two are ‘really into one another and have some love chemistry going on.’
It is not yet known when Melton started dating the Generation actress, however reports suggest that both actors posted photos of themselves in Paris around the same time in March on Instagram.
Melton Had Previously Dated Camila Mendes
Before Wonders, Melton was dating his Riverdale co-star Camila Mendes. The two sparked dating rumors in summer 2018 and made their relationship official by making an appearance together at the red carpet of GQ Men of the Year Party that December.
The two mostly kept their relationship private, but made some appearances together, including at the premiere of Charles’s movie The Sun Is Also a Star and at Met Gala 2019. However, the reports of their split came out in December 2019.
At the time, a source had told, “Cami and Charles have been separated for a few months now. They are taking a break from their relationship. Their relationship escalated very quickly and they are taking time now to focus on their work and themselves. Nothing in particular happened, they just both felt busy and overwhelmed and it was a lot of pressure on them.”
Charles Made his Acting Debut with Glee
Charles had a successful career as a model before foraying into acting. After his modelling gigs with Dolce & Gabbana, Kenneth Cole and MAC, he made his acting debut with Glee and went on to act in American Horror Story.
He rose to fame in 2017, with his role as Reggie Mantle in Riverdale season 2. In 2019, he made his film debut with The Sun Is Also a Star, the film adaptation of the book of the same name by Nicola Yoon. The star will next be seen in superhero film Secret Headquarters.
Chase, on the other hand started her career as a screenwriter, co-director and protagonist of 2009 film A Trivial Exclusion. She also wrote and directed the 2015 feature film Last Migration. In 2021, she joined the cast of HBO’s comedy-drama series Generation.
