The action comedy movie “Bullet Train” is filled with amazing locations that will keep you engaged even after you complete watching this movie. And most likely, especially after seeing the movie. After its initial release, spectators absolutely adored the movie.

The plot revolves around Ladybug, a bad luck hitman who is motivated to do his task peacefully after one too many jobs have gone wrong.

Fate, on the other hand, may have other plans for him, as his latest mission places him on a collision course with lethal adversaries from around the world – all with interconnected but conflicting goals – on the world’s fastest train.

Bullet Train stars Brad Pitt and a lot of charismatic characters. But okay, let’s not get distracted. It’s time to explore the filming locations.

Bullet Train Filming Locations Explored 

Bullet Train production began in Los Angeles in October 2020, during the pandemic. Filming officially began on November 16, 2020, and then concluded in March 2021. The movie features many breathtaking locations.

To help immerse the performers, the producers built three full train cars and hung LED screens with video footage of the Japanese countryside outside the train set’s window panes. Pitt executed 95 percent of his stunts in the movie, according to the movie’s stunt coordinator, Greg Rementer.

Tokyo, Japan, Los Angeles, California, USA, and Sony Pictures Studios – 10202 W. Washington Blvd., Culver City, California, USA is also featured in the film.

Los Angeles, California

The most significant scene in the movie was filmed in one of the most beautiful places in the world, Los Angeles, California. This magnificent setting has been used in numerous films and television shows.

According to reports, Lancaster and the Barclay Hotel were also listed. And, as stated earlier, the Sony Pictures Studios – 10202 W. Washington Blvd., Culver City is one of the main filming locations. The venue is a one-stop creative campus with award-winning talent, cutting-edge technology, adaptable workflows, and global connectivity.

Since 2022, the facility has been owned by Sony Pictures and has housed the division’s movie studios, including Columbia Pictures, TriStar Pictures, and Screen Gems, as well as anime licensing company Crunchyroll, LLC.

The lot currently houses sixteen separate sound stages and is open to the public for daily studio tours.

Brad was also potted in the streets of Los Angeles, all bruised and bloodied for a specific scene Tourists may be most familiar with the Lancaster location for its seasonal poppy display.

During the spring months, between March and May, the surrounding Antelope Valley bursts into appearance. Certainly, the movie was also shot in March 2021 at the location.

Tokyo, Japan 

Tokyo, Japan, was another significant location. Many scenes were filmed in and around Tokyo’s Chiyoda ward’s famous Akihabara Station. Akihabara is a bustling shopping district known for its electronics retailers, which range from tiny stalls to massive department stores such as Yodobashi Multimedia Akiba.

Tokyo Anime Center, for exhibits and souvenirs, is one of the venues specializing in manga, anime, and video games.
