BTS star Suga is an NBA ambassador now! The South Korean rap superstar who is a very big fan of basketball and has followed the sport for many years shared the amazing news via a video shared on the official Instagram page of the National Basketball Association.
Suga has not only watched the NBA games on television but he has also seen games live as well. In the past, Suga whose real name is Min Yoon-gi has met several high-profile NBA stars including Steph Curry, Luka Doncic, and Klay Thompson.

Yeah, you read that right. Suga has become an NBA ambassador now. It seems like now he will be seen on the sidelines more often. He is well-known by the viewers as a member of the popular K-pop boy band BTS which also consists of Jin, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. He has been a member of the South Korean band since the year 2013 and over the years, he has gained a lot of fame and success.
In an Instagram video posted on the official page of the NBA, the 30-year-old rapper said, “I am proud to announce that I’ve become an NBA ambassador. It is personally a great honor as I have loved basketball since I was young.”

For those of you who are unaware, let us share with you, the Grammy-winning singer has been a huge fan of the game of basketball since the time he was a kid. NBA is very popular in North America, however, Adam Silver, the league’s commissioner is trying his best to garner the attention of basketball fans from other parts of the world.

In the video, Damian can be heard saying, “What’s up Suga? It’s Dame Lillard. I had a chance to see your article, somebody sent it to me. I appreciate your words. I don’t take it lightly to be someone’s favorite player but when they are a fan of our team and something that I care so much about, you know that means something to me. So I appreciate your words, I appreciate you being a fan of mine and showing me love.”
