Britney Spears and her fiancé Sam Asghari are all ready to walk down the aisle and say ‘I do’ to one another. The fitness expert-turned actor took to Instagram stories on Mother’s Day to announce plans for the wedding. The couple met on the set of Spears’ song ‘Slumber Party in 2016 and have been together. since They are also expecting a child together soon.
Sam Asghari posted a picture of Spears showing off the engagement ring with them kissing in the background of the picture. Asghari posted the story with the caption “Our lives has been a real life fairytale <3 happy mother’s day to you my soon to be queen”.
He added, “ Also The big day has been set. But nobody will know until the day after”. After that, he went on to wish his mother a happy mother’s day and posted videos of him working out.
Britney Spears also took to Instagram to share the news, however her message was more subtle. She posted a picture of her cat Wendy and captioned the picture “Introducing Wendy 🐈 !!! And yes, this is the veil to my wedding dress 👰🏼♀️ !!!”
In a single post, Asghari made it clear that the couple was still going strong and had every plan to settle down. However, it seems that they might want to keep it private and won’t be making their wedding public until after.
Britney Spears And Sam Asghari’s Engagement
Spears announced her engagement to Sam back in November 2021. The announcement came three months after she told a judge that the conservatorship was robbing her of the ability to make decisions in her personal life.
In June, she gave a statement in hopes of being freed from the conservatorship. She said that she was not allowed to get married or have a baby and that she wanted to be able to do those things.
Spears was put under the conservatorship back in 2008 after she got hospitalized following a number of public incidents and people were concerned about her mental health. However, the conservatorship has finally ended and she is free.
