This Week’s Bollywood Bytes:
1Priyanka Chopra Makes her Bollywood Comeback
Chopra will finally be making a Bollywood film after a 2-year hiatus from the big screen. The “Quantico” star will be reuniting with Salman Khan for Ali Abbas Zafar’s next directorial venture, “Bharat.” The film is based on a South Korean film titled “An Ode to my Father” which follows the story of a man who is separated and later reunited with his family during the Korean War.
The Indian adaptation will follow a similar format, following Khan’s character over a span of 60 years and include Indian historical moments like the India-Pakistan partition. Chopra is thrilled to be working with Khan and Zafar again. From the looks of his teasing on Twitter, Khan is excited to work with his “Salaam-e-Ishq” co-star again as well.
