Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War part 2 is set to return on July 2023. After the final episode of the first part is aired on December 27, Studio Pierrot released a trailer confirming the second cour of the anime returning the next year in July with the title “Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War part 2”.

The 1-minute and 35 seconds long trailer from Studio Pierrot showed a few of the concept art with some vital lines uttered by some key characters. The second part is, after more than six months after the first one, as the trailer has confirmed that part 2 will premiere in July 2022. But fans are ready to wait for the final showdown between the Shinigami and The Quincy.
Among those voices, Byakuya Kuchiki, Zaraki Kenpachi, Toshiro Hitsugaya, Mayuri Kurotsuchi, Aizen Sousuke, Shunsui Kyoraku, Juushiro Ukitake, and Renji Abarai’s voices are the prominent ones.
One scene showed a three-dimensional model of Uryu’s Quincy cross. This sign has a massive significance to the plot, as Quincies will be the primary antagonists in the story of the last part of the Bleach series. One dialogue also indicated the conversation between Ichigo and Uryu over Uryu’s betrayal of Soul Society.
The trailer also gave some glimpses of some upcoming scenes before it ends. Among those, one particular scene was Tōshirō Hitsugaya and his new form of his Bankai. Another scene showed Ichigo wearing Senjumaru Shutara’s Ouken clothing.
What to expect from Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War part 2?
The series is adapted from Tite Kubo’s popular manga series Bleach. The manga made its debut in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in August 2001. The publishing continued until August 2016 and ended up having a total of 74 volumes. The final arc focuses on the chapters from the 55th to the 74th volumes of the manga.
Later, The manga’s success led to an anime adaptation under Pierrot Studios with Noriyuki Abe’s direction. The series aired from October 2004 to March 2012, with 366 episodes and 16 seasons.
This arc focuses on Manga’s Thousand Year Blood War arc and the fights are the most intense ones. There are a lot of fierce battles as well as some tragic deaths in the final part of Bleach. Every character will have massive power-ups. But some massive characters will return for saving the Soul Society. Some villains will team up with Shinigamis against the Quincies for survival as well.
When and Where to Watch Bleach?
Quincies return has already been teased in the final episode of Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War part 1. But no one will predict the huge calamity they will bring upon the Soul Society. Audiences from Europe or Latin America can only stream the series on Disney. Netflix and Bilibili only have streaming rights in Asia.
Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War is the final season which started premiering on October 11, 2022. The first Part consisted of only 13 episodes, and the 14th one is coming in July 2023 under the second cour of the Thousand Year Blood War arc.
