Popular Korean pop band BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has launched her Youtube channel. Jisoo celebrated her 28th birthday by launching her channel at midnight.
Happy Jisoo 103%
Her Youtube channel’s name translates to “Happy Jisoo 103%”, it could also mean “Happiness Index 103%”. Her first video is a vlog of when the group was in London to perform at two sold-out concerts on November 30 and December 1st.
In about 20 hours, the video has about 3.8 million views and the channel already crossed 1.42 million subscribers. In the vlog, she takes the viewers around on a tour of London as she tries different foods and shares the whole experience with her fans.

Jisoo also added a description for the video which read that all the proceedings from the video would be donated. She also wrote, “We hope that everyone’s happiness index goes up even higher.”
Jisoo fans and BLACKPINK fans (known as “Blinks”) were too pleased with the sudden happy news. One user commented, “Jisoo thank you very much for the vlog, he was able to cheer me up and I really wanted to visit London. Blink loves you very much and is waiting for your solo💓”.
Another user commented, “ALL BLINKS HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU JISOO AND NOW HERE YOU ARE!!! WE LOVE YOU JISOOOOO<33”.
Agency Released Statement
BLACKPINK recently took a two-year hiatus to focus on a solo career. At that time, all the members of the group released solo music except for Jisoo. Fans have been waiting for her to release solo music for a long time now.
Her agency YG Entertainment came out with a statement that made the fans very happy. The statement read “While carrying out a busy world tour schedule since last year, she finished the album jacket photo shoot and worked on music production whenever she got the time in order to keep the promise with fans.”
It further added, “She will greet (fans) soon with good news.” Although the fans would have liked to have a timeline, this is still good as she is currently recording the songs for her album. But as the band is currently on tour, it might be a while till that music finally comes out.
Fans were ecstatic to hear that Jisoo is finally releasing solo music this year. One fan wrote “One fan wrote on Twitter “I’m excited for Jisoo’s solo debut. She has a beautiful voice,” while another one wrote, “Excited to see what Jisoo’s solo debut will bring us bc her creativity is really out of this world.”
BLACKPINK was created by YG Entertainment in 2016. They have been doing consistently well. After a couple of albums and two-year-long hiatus, the group came back together to release “Born Pink”, they are currently on tour for the album.
While the girls get to perform as a group and climb the ladder to success and money, they also get to dive deeper and release solo music that resonates with them. Fans get to experience the best of both worlds this way. For now, they are waiting for more news about Jisoo’s solo music.
