*Warning: Spoilers Ahead for Black Adam Post Credit Scene’s Big Reveal*
Just like every other superhero film these days, Black Adam, too, has a post-credits scene, which, fortunately or unfortunately, has been leaked online. While the film is still two days away from its release, the leaked footage has revealed an exciting event that is set to change the future of the DCEU.
The video started doing the rounds on Twitter and TikTok, but was taken down by the social media platforms at the behest of Warner Bros. While the production company might be disappointed over the leak, the scene is enough to make the audience excited enough to watch the film in theatres.
Black Adam Leaked Post-Credits Scene Teases an Awaited Return
DC fans can rejoice as the scene features Henry Cavill’s return as Superman. After years of wait, the star is finally donning the superhero suit. The leaked footage featured Cavill making an entrance out of smoke, and confronting Black Adam.
“It’s been a while since anyone’s made the world this nervous,” says Superman, hinting at a potential future film pitting him against Black Adam. While the fans who got to see the video on social media were definitely thrilled, some might be as lucky as Warner Bros. have tried their best to take the video down.
The posts featuring the scene now read, “This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner.” Twitter has also confirmed that they are “removing the content in line with our rules.” A TikTok spokesperson has also stated that the platform is deleting the video due to copyright guidelines.
The Rock wants a Black Adam vs Superman Movie
The Rock had earlier stated that he only wanted a standalone film for Black Adam, so it could be followed up with a Black Adam vs Superman film one day. “I can tell you that the whole goal and initiative of Black Adam was to build out the DC Universe by introducing not only Black Adam, but the entire Justice Society of America,” he said in a recent interview.
“So, for years, audiences have been so passionate and vocal about – we’ve established Black Adam as the most powerful and unstoppable force on our planet. But the fans have been so passionate about… ‘Where is the most unstoppable force in the universe? Where is he?’ Well… we’ve all been fighting for this moment, so I will say this: Welcome home,” he added.
Dwayne Johnson Stars as the Anti-Hero in Black Adam
The film deals with the origin story of the anti-hero. The synopsis of the movie says, “In ancient Kahndaq, Teth Adam was bestowed the almighty powers of the gods. After using these powers for vengeance, he was imprisoned, becoming Black Adam. Nearly 5,000 years have passed and Black Adam has gone from man, to myth, to legend.”
Apart from Johnson, Black Adam will star Aldis Hodge as Carter Hall, Noah Centineo as Albert “Al” Rothstein, Sarah Shahi as Adrianna Tomaz , Marwan Kenzari as Ishmael Gregor, Quintessa Swindell as Maxine Hunkel, Bodhi Sabongui as Amon Tomaz and Pierce Brosnan as Kent Nelson.
Black Adam is all set to hit the theatres on Friday, October 21. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
