HBO’s black comedy series Barry never fails to impress audiences with its gripping storyline, stellar performances, and intelligent humor. The critically acclaimed show recently returned with its fourth and final season, leaving fans excited.

Barry Season 4 Release Schedule
Barry season 4 premiered on HBO on April 16th. The first two episodes of the season, ‘yikes’ and ‘bestest place on the earth’ were aired together as a part of the special premiere.
Keeping up with the previous installments, the fourth season is also going to feature eight episodes, which will be released weekly on Sundays. The finale is scheduled to air on May 28th. Here is the complete release schedule:

The episodes will be aired at 10 pm ET / 7 pm PT on HBO, and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
What is Barry Season 4 About?
At the end of season 3, Barry was at his lowest point as he was arrested and there seemed to be no escape. The fourth season will now focus on if and how he is able to make a comeback after hitting the rock bottom.
“Cousineau is hailed as a hero as Barry’s arrest has shocking consequences. It’s all been leading up to this – the explosive and hilarious final chapter of Barry,” reveals the synopsis for the season.
Series co-creator Bill Hader, who also stars in the titular role, also teased what to expect from the final season in a recent interview and said, “What happens in Season 4 is structurally radical in some ways, but it made sense for what I think the characters needed to go through.”
“And what I think the whole show is always kind of headed towards. You realize, well, we could pad a lot of stuff, and just make story. But if we’re going forward, it ends in Season 4,” he continued.
Will the Series End with Season 4?
Yes, Barry will come to an end with season 4. The makers said that the story will come to a ‘natural conclusion’ with the series finale. “After three masterful seasons of Barry, we are eager for viewers to see the powerful, complex, and hilarious conclusion to Barry Berkman’s story,” HBO announced last month.
Apart from Hader, the show stars Stephen Root as Monroe Fuches, Sarah Goldberg as Sally Reed, Anthony Carrigan as NoHo Hank, Henry Winkler as Gene Cousineau, Sarah Burns as Detective Mae Dunn, Robert Wisdom as Jim Moss, Andrew Leeds as Leo Cousineau and Fred Melamed as Tom Posorro.
