Awards Winners For The First Blue Dragon Series Announced

It is official now that the list of winners for the first-ever Blue Dragon Series Awards has been released! There was a first award ceremony held in Korea specifically for streaming platforms during this year’s awards ceremony.

Sports Chosun, which has also been presenting the Blue Dragon Film Awards for over 20 years now, has launched a new award ceremony to honour excellence in dramas and variety shows produced by streaming services rather than broadcast stations for the first time.

This Change Recognizes The Growth And Development Of Original Series

The goal of this new change is to acknowledge and recognize the growth and development in the content industry dealing with original series, as well as to keep up with the changing times and the evolving nature of the industry as it continues to evolve.

A star-studded ceremony, hosted by Girls’ Generation’s YoonA and Jun Hyun Moo, was held on July 19 in Incheon, South Korea, and featured MCs YoonA and Jun Hyun Moo. On the red carpet, actress Kim Go-Eun, best known for her role in Yumi’s Cells, and Han Hyo-Joo made a stunning entrance.
